Magenhofer comes to WNAV from Harrisonburg, Virginia where he spent 11 years as News Director for WSVA and the rest of the five station co-owned group.
Among his accomplishments while in Virginia were Media Professional of the Year from the Public Relations Council of the Valley, two time President of the
Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters, and four time winner of the Frank H. Fuller award for outstanding contribution to the Associated Press.

staff in providing the most comprehensive local news available,” said Steve Hopp, V.P. and General Manager of Sajak Broadcasting Corporation.
In addition to the management of the news staff, Magenhofer will assume the duties of Afternoon Drivetime News Anchor. His talents also include
sports play by play announcing and color commentary for sporting events. In Harrisonburg, he participated in game broadcasts on the James Madison
University Sports Network.
Originally from Howard County, Magenhofer is married. His wife is an Anne Arundel County native.
(Annapolis) Sajak Broadcasting Corporation has hired Karl Magenhofer to lead the news department at their Annapolis station, 1430 WNAV.
